During the last quarter of 2004, after an extensive review of FFSF finances, the Board of Directors created an endowment fund for Food for Santa Fe. This fund is growing with donations from foundations, faith organizations and individuals. The income the fund generates assists in meeting FFSF's ongoing operating expenses. The initial contribution to the fund was made from FFSF financial resources. Food for Santa Fe has partnered with the Santa Fe Community Foundation, who manages the fund. All donations are tax deductible. To mail contributions to Food for Santa Fe's endowment fund, please send your donation to:
Please make your check out to "Food for Santa Fe" and make a notation on it that it is for "Endowment Fund ". We will send you a receipt for use in claiming a tax deduction. Alternately, make a donation online on the Santa Fe Community Foundation's giving form (must be $100 or more to donate via the online form). Be sure to put "Food for Santa Fe" in the text box that appears after you select "Other" for "Designation." |
